The Glitter Edit began as one more way for me to turn a photograph into something you can truly hold onto. For my wedding couples, I select a favourite image from their day, print it, and finish it by hand with carefully placed European glass glitter - a little surprise from me, and quite literally, the final edit.
But it doesn’t stop with the photographs I've taken. Send me your own favourite image and I can create a Custom Glitter Edit just for you. Or bring the sparkle to your celebration with The Glitter Bar - an interactive experience for intimate events and private parties where your guests can have their portraits photographed, printed, glittered and taken home.

Do you have a favourite portrait that deserves a little more attention? Email me your high-resolution photograph, and I’ll transform it into a custom Glitter Edit - hand-applying glitter to selected areas of the image to create a dimensional, sparkling work of art.
THE PROCESS
Email me the following: (info@monikamistry.com) with your:
- digital photo
- size choice
- address (so I can calculate shipping),
- and any details on how you want it glittered (if you don't know, then no problem! I'll take care of it!)
If the photo is good quality for print and for glittering, I will then send you a quote for the print + shipping. Once you approve, I will send you an invoice and I will get glittering!

WHAT KIND OF PHOTO DO
I NEED?
For the best quality print, please send the original, high-resolution image (ideally 300DPI).
Great options:
- The original photo from your photographer
- The original photo from your phone’s camera roll
- A full-resolution digital file downloaded from your photographer’s gallery
- A large JPG or PNG file
PLEASE AVOID:
❌ Screenshots
❌ Photos saved from Instagram or Facebook
❌ Images sent through apps that compress photos
❌ Cropped or heavily edited versions
❌ Small images downloaded from the web
Not sure if your photo is high-resolution?
No problem - just email it to me and I can let you know if it will work for the size you’d like to order.
Best tip: If you're sending a photo from your phone, choose “Actual Size” / “Original” / “Full Resolution” when sending it, rather than a compressed version.

MEET THE GIRL BEHIND THE GLITTER
Hi, I’m Monika — a professional photographer, storyteller and lifelong creative.
My photography has always been about more than making something look beautiful. I want my photographs to bring you back to how a moment felt — the laughter, the love, the tiny details and everything happening in between. It’s why my work naturally leans toward documentary storytelling and genuine moments rather than perfectly posed ones.
But long before I was holding a camera, I was putting glitter on basically anything that would sit still.
School projects? Glitter.
Crafts? Obviously glitter.
Desserts? I found edible glitter. ✨
I’ve always loved taking something beautiful and adding that one little detail that makes it feel extra special. So perhaps it was inevitable that glitter eventually found its way into my photography.
One day, a photograph just didn’t feel completely finished. I printed it, added sparkle by hand and suddenly it clicked.
The photograph was taken. The moment was captured. But this was the final edit.
And that’s how The Glitter Edit became the sparkly little extension of Monika Mistry Photography you see here today.
It combines two things I’ve loved for as long as I can remember: creating photographs that mean something, and making beautiful things just a little more magical.
